Case Management
During the detoxification program, our Counseling staff will be meeting with each client to complete needed assessments and to help them get the referrals arranged to go from our program to the appropriate next level of treatment whether that be inpatient or outpatient. These decisions are made jointly with the client, and every effort is made to accommodate their needs and desires. Additional communications and assistance to obtain needed services may also be provided during this time.
A facility orientation will be given for each client, at which time they will receive information on our daily schedules, numbers for the pay phones, and times when authorized family members or friends may attend Family Group Meetings with them. Due to compliance with Federal Confidentiality Laws it is the sole responsibility of the client to communicate this information directly to family and friend if desired.
Information about a client or their presence here in the facility is held in strictest confidence except where a specific, written authorization for release of information by the client is present.
While present in our facility, clients will have opportunity to receive very basic foundational addiction recovery support through various 12-step meetings, Family Group Meetings, HIV/AIDS testing and seminars, and other similar programs.
It is our desire to have every person complete our program and then make a direct move into a program of further treatment. While this usually occurs in a seamless fashion, there can be an occasional circumstance where beds may not be available at a particular treatment facility. In such cases, we will attempt to help the client find placement in a transitional setting during the interim.
