TREATMENT SERVICES

Detoxification...a process to reduce or relieve withdrawal symptoms while helping the addicted individual adjust to living without drug use; drug/alcohol detoxification is not meant to treat addiction but rather an early step in long-term treatment. Detoxification may be achieved drug free (social detoxification) or may use medications as an aspect of treatment (medically supported detoxification).

CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION

1.) Need for detoxification: the individual requiring admission is intoxicated due to use/abuse of drugs or alcohol, or demonstrating withdrawal symptoms.

2.) Lack of medical complications: the individual cannot be admitted if medical problems exist that extend past our social detoxification capabilities. We are not a medically supported detoxification center so we will not treat anyone who is currently taking or who has taken within the last 7 days a benzodiazapine, methadone, or combining hydrocodone and oxycodone.

3.) Must be 18 years or older
